I’m very sad to hear about the passing of Jani Lane. Warrant was an oft-disparaged band from the “hair metal” era that I love so much, but they were one of the best in the genre. Jani Lane was an amazing singer and songwriter, and his music meant a lot to me as a kid. Much respect. RIP. Here is a live performance of one of my favorite songs of his, “I Saw Red”.
